Influenster Holiday VoxBox 2012

So, I was totally excited that I got picked to receive a 2012 Holiday VoxBox from Influenster :-).. It was totally unexpected because I had received a box about a month ago with Crest 3D White Strips inside, and for participating, I knew I qualified for the Holiday VoxBox but I was NOT expecting it.. I must say a HUGE thank you to Influenster for allowing me to try another box and the amazing products that were inside FOR FREE!! So, the following are all of the items, one by one, that came in my box to review and if I have had a chance to try the products, I will give my honest review of each.....

 The first thing that I noticed in the box after the Influesnter card, was a card to Sole Society.. The card says "SOLE SOCIETY, shoes on trend, everyday"..  The next thing is Natural Energy EBOOST in Pink Lemonade flavor.. EBOOST says it "will boost your mood, focus, and immunity with natural ingredients and no crash.. As a shot or an easy-to-mix powder and in four flavors, you'll feel great whether you choose Orange, Pink Lemonade, Acai Pomegranate, or Super Berry.. And with all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, you'll certainly need a boost!!"

EBOOST: $28 for box of 20 effervescent powders, $39 for box of 30 effervescent powders, or $39 for box of 12 shots..

Now, for my 100% true review....... Umm, so where do I start ha ha.. I don't like to give bad reviews on items, I really don't, but with that said I gotta say, this stuff tastes disgusting.. I would not buy any more of this product.. Now, that isn't to say that it isn't something to try, but I would only try one packet before buying a case.. I also didn't notice a boost in energy or anything.. I didn't really even notice a boost in my mood.. One thing I can say though, I definitely didn't crash like I do with other energy drinks, so that was a plus.. Taste is everything to me though, and the fact that it was not at all tasty, I think that I will pass next time..

 Kiss Nail Dress was the next item in my box.. The card reads "Ultimate nail fashion for tips and toes!! Just peel, apply, and shape for a manicure that lasts up to a week.. On in minutes, off in seconds without remover.. Nail Dress is available in 21 different styles, many of them featuring 3-demenshional jeweled designs.. Skip the topcoat, Nail Dress has it built in.." Kiss Nail Dress sells for about $6.99 for about 20 or so strips..

I do really like the convenience of these, however I noticed it was quite hard to get them perfectly flat on my nails.. Just like most decals, I had a couple ripples in them, which was a total bummer.. If Kiss would add a soft tip buffer, like a felt buffer or something the like, it would be SO much better.. I believe that a buffer would help smooth them better, maybe.. I really do like these though and I would totally buy them again.. And I was given the leopard print and I am not an animal print person, so if I am still saying I would buy them again, that is saying something.. ;-)

 Next up is NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine, and you can pick up a tube for $2.49.. This particular one is in the color Nude York City, and it is very pretty on.. The card describes it as follows: "Keep your lips soft as ever with the NYC New York Color Liquid Lipshine.. It's pure pigment ingredients create a 3-D gloss effect while Vitamin E provides shine and moisture.. The non-sticky formula creates the ultimate creamy and soft textured feel.. Available in 10 on-trend shades from neutral nudes, to berries and fuschias.."

I am pretty happy with this lip gloss actually.. I am not one to buy many lip gloss' or anything, so I was excited to get this in my box.. I have to say, I don't necessarily think it is not sticky, I felt it was a little sticky personally.. It does however, have a very pleasant smell though, which was nice.. And it is very pretty on many different skin tones.. So I totally recommend this product, especially with a $2.49 price point..

 I also received Quaker Real Medleys Summer Berry Oatmeal which average about $1.79 per cup (my husband found them at our local Walmart for $1.49 per cup).. My card says "Simply the best oatmeal ever - and you can enjoy it on the go!! Whole grain oats, rye, barley and wheat are mixed with large chunks of real fruit and nuts in a convenient single-serve cup.. Just add hot water or microwave and you can have a delicious breakfast anytime, anywhere.."

I am extremely pleased to receive this in my box.. I have so far, tried the summer berry (as shown) and the cherry pistachio flavors.. I gotta say, they are soooo yummy!! I love both flavors, and will DEFINITELY be buying more, and possibly trying other flavors as well.. So far, even though both are delicious, the cherry and pistachio is my favorite flavor.. These are so cute, and super convenient.. You can just chuck them in your purse (or in my case, diaper bag) and have breakfast instantly, anywhere.. It does say to add water, but I like a creamy oatmeal, so I added milk and microwaved mine.. It was A-MAZE-ING!! :-)

And last, but certainly NOT least I got a Goody QuikStyle Brush (Paddle or Half Round Styler) which you can find in stores for $11.99.. I received the paddle version of this brush, and though I am used to round or half round brush's I am still, very pleased with it.. I actually have not tried this brush yet, as excited as I was to receive it, I keep forgetting I have it lol.. As soon as I try it out I will come back and give my review on it.. I actually air dry my hair these days, so I am hoping that this brush helps it dry a lot faster.... We will see ;-)

PeaceLoveCycle Cloth Pads

PeaceLoveCycle cloth pads are a fairly new cloth pad company ran by a sweet, SWEET girl.. Her name is Charity and her customer service is absolutely OUTSTANDING!! She can be found on Facebook.. I first found her on youtube, and she posted videos of pads she had made for herself, which were super cute.. I was secretly hoping she would make them and sell them as I was watching said videos Ha ha.. Lucky for me, some other lovely ladies with youtube cloth pad review channels convinced her to do just that :-).. She uses quilters cotton, flannel, and has just added a couple of minky top fabrics.. Her bottom fabric is a water resistant fleece, which not only protects your panties, but it helps them grip your undies so they won't move.. She also has two styles, she calls them "curvy" and "straight" cut (shown above)..

Pictured here are her "curvy" style cloth pads.. These are all ten inches in length (she offers 8 inch, 10 inch, and 11.75 inch lengths).. The first one is a cotton topped, Eco Trees print pad in moderate flow, marked with a dark pink ribbon near the snap so there is no guessing on absorbency.. The center pad is a flannel topped Umbrella print pad in moderate flow, marked with a dark pink tag as well.. And lastly, I am showing another cotton topped, purple batik print pad in heavy flow, marked with a red ribbon.. Her interior absorbancy is made up of a bamboo/cotton blend batting, making them super absorbent.. Bamboo has the ability to absorb moisture, 3-4 times that of cotton and also has amazing wicking abilities helping to make you feel dry.. 1 layer is-light (light pink ribbon), 2 layers is-regular/moderate(dark pink ribbon), 3 layers is for-heavy(red ribbon), and 4 layers are for-super(black ribbon).. Since she has chosen to use a bamboo blend, it helps to keep her pads EXTREMELY trim.. They are so thin, you can hardly feel them, which is AWESOME!! They are comparable to ultra thin disposables in thickness..

These two, are her straight cut option.. I really like both styles, but if you choose to buy from her, one isn't better than the other, it is just a matter of preference.. I suggest ordering at least one of each style, to see which type fits best for you.. The two pictured above are an 11.75 inch, flannel topped, heavy flow, and a 10 inch, cotton topped, liner.. I forgot to mention that her liners are marked with a white ribbon and has one layer of flannel inside.. I absolutely ADORE her pads.. I don't like to choose "favorites" because all brands are great, in their own right; but I will admit, that these are definitely some of my "go to" pads :-).. They are so soft, and comfortable, and the trimness is to die for.. They feel just like your undies, you seriously can't even tell you are wearing them.. She color coordinates her snaps with the print that you choose, but she also offers clear snaps which is so great, because when you order a print (like the pink batik above) and she uses clear snaps, you don't lose ANY of the gorgeous print.. I love, Love, LOVE these pads, you just can not go wrong with PeaceLoveCycle pads.. And, can I just add, HOW 80's do these two look?? Ha ha, I love it :-)

Her prices start at $5 for an 8 inch liner, up to as much as $10+ for 11.75 inch super absorbancy.. I say $10+ dollars, because you can add as many layers of the bamboo/cotton absorbent layers as you would like and it is 25 cents, per extra layer.. You also have an option to add a second snap for a tighter gusset, which would be 25 cents a snap.. She is very affordable, and I highly suggest you check out her stuff.. Oh, AND she ships her items to you in recycled packaging which is too cute for words, and makes your reusable product even more Eco Friendly.. She totally ROCKS!! It's worth taking a look right?? What do you have to lose?? And her prints are so darn adorable, which is a major plus, but also makes it even more addicting Ha ha..

Crest and Influenster are Awe-SOME!! :-)

So, I am new to blogging, as well as an influenster.com newbie.. I must say, I can not be more pleased.. First off, influenster is so amazing at what they do.. Their website is amazing, not to mention fun :-).. And I thank them for allowing me the opportunity to try products for free so that I can review them and pass on the my personal opinions on said products.. So with that said THANK YOU INFLUENSTER and CREST :-)

I received my VoxBox fairly quickly and was so excited to try it out.. I was completely surprised to find that my product was in fact, the Crest 3D Whitestrips.. I have had a chance to try them, and the new Advanced Seal technology is absolutely AMAZING!! I used to use Crest Whitestrips before, and I honestly got frustrated with them.. I used to have major slipping (especially on the bottom teeth) BUT, the new technology freaking ROCKS :-).. There is absolutely NO slipping on top OR bottom strips, which means you are secure in knowing that you will see results.. In fact, the new technology is SO great, that it is literally like a sticker on your teeth.. You have to really PULL to get them off, so you have comfort in knowing that they won't budge while wearing them, you can talk and everything and they stay put :-)

The main bullet points that makes this product so great, are as follows:

If you are wanting a quick whitening, to get a little bit brighter smile before an event, such as a Homecoming Dance, or Winter Formal, or Prom, or for the older demographic, maybe a Military Ball, the "flash whiten" option is the way to go..

You will not see full results, until you have used all of the strips in 20 days.. I am only on day 3, but I am excited to come back after the 20 days and share my before and after pictures..
